Grandparent's Day

CELEBRATING THE ROLE OF GRANDPARENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

We were delighted to create a fun event for Grandparent's Day this year! On October 22nd, we worked with People Who Care, a not-for-profit, community based organisation who assist the elderly, the disabled, the long term unemployed and people experiencing financial hardship. People Who Care provide essential care and services to the disadvantaged and frail with over 350 staff and volunteers!

It was an honour to create a family friendly event to celebrate grandparents and their role in the community and in our personal lives. Celebrating at Faulkner Park in Belmont, hundreds of families gathered to have fun and bond over family games! There were egg and spoon races, sack races, skip rope, hopper balls, fairies, face painting, a bouncy castle, and much more! We also had the pleasure of providing the barbecue and supplies, free of charge. What a wonderful way to get the family active for free, and for a good cause!
