WA Rocks - Pet Rock Painting Workshops

We've had so much fun painting rocks with the kiddies these school holidays! As part of City of Perth's Spring in the City adventures, this free event has been a real hit with kids of all ages. 

We've supplied a selection of high quality rocks for kids to choose from, and acrylic paints of all colours! The kids have been very creative (even some parents enjoyed painting rocks!) painting on ladybugs, monsters, minions, sunsets, flowers and all sorts of things with their big imagination. Even though the paint is water based and easily washed off, we've supplied disposable aprons just in case - the same kind of aprons from last year's fruit kebab workshop! The Rock painting workshop was part of the October School Holiday events hosted by the City Of Perth. There were 16 FREE events across the city for children to enjoy. Our workshop and the slime making workshop was located at Perth City Farm, one of Perth's most famous venues. Situated in a large barn, the kids were able to let their rocks dry, many of them excited to take them home or hide them around Perth for others to find, as part of WA Rocks!
